Available Services

As well as a helpline, Refuge also provides safe, emergency accommodation all over the UK, including culturally-specific services for women from minority ethnic communities and cultures.

The NCDV offers a wide range of information and offers legal support, as well as signposting to other services for support.

Women's Aid provides a wide range of resources for women & young people that have experienced domestic abuse. They also created The Survivor's Handbook, which provides a wide range of information that covers legal advice, a safety plan and more.

The Men's Advice Line offers a freephone helpline, information about domestic abuse, legal resources, supports and an information hub. The information hub helps you to find contacts to local male victim's domestic abuse services, including safehouses, housing support, mental health services and more.

The NDA helpline is freephone 24 hour service that provides advice and support to women and can refer them to emergency accommodation. There are translation facilities if your first language is not English. The helpline also offers BT Type Talk for callers with hearing difficulties.

Rights of Women offers free and confidential legal advice on domestic and sexual violence. You can use their freephone or online FLOWS Answers services. They also offer online legal guides and able to help you get representation if you need it.
