Healthy Relationships
So we've covered what abusive relationships look like. That likely raises the question of "what do healthy relationships look like"?
A healthy relationship is not just a relationship that doesn't have red flags; it's a relationship that's based on trust and respect. It has open communication, empathy and kindness. That doesn't mean a healthy relationship doesn't have disagreements. It means that the people involved handle the issue at hand with empathy and active listening to try to find a solution that works for everybody. Below are some examples of green flags in relationships.
